Hurrah for Public Libraries!

Yes, the Old Rock Community Library has wi-fi. Yipee! So I'll at least be able to keep up with all of my subscriptions on Google Reader. It's 67 degrees and fabulous in Crested Butte. Kind of weird to be on vacation in a gorgeous mountain town but have Ben gone all day in class.

Ben managed to get our fifth wheel camper up a 6 mile dirt road and through a snow bank (with the help of 4 kayakers who happened to have snow shovels in their truck--providential!) to a free campground on a creek with an incredible view. The solar panels are charging the batteries by 9am everyday, and as soon as I can find an RV dump we'll be set for the month.

My standards for clean laundry might have to change. Nathaniel has discovered the joy of mudpuddles, and the Laundromat charges $1.75 per wash load. And 25 cents for 5 minutes of drying. Does that seem high?

More to come!
